Packing Tips

Once you start packing make sure you have a useful supply of boxes, newspapers and tissue. Always keep scissors and tape with you. Make sure that you pack all the electronic equipments in the original packs in which you bought them. If you unscrew any of the equipment make sure it is taped on to the packing box. Always avoid, straining your box by over stuffing it and do not load more than 50 pounds into a normal box

It is possible to get specialized packing materials for fragile items. Check with your Mover before packing your valuables. When you pack medicines pack them in a leak proof container. Always get your rugs, drapes and curtains cleaned before packing. Pack books very tightly with a little bit of talcum powder to avoid musty smells. Label each carton with specifications regarding the content of the carton. If the content is fragile, indicate it on the carton. Load the items which you need urgently upon your arrival last.
